Hi I bought a grey about one week ago and i try to be kind i give him privacy, i only approach to his cage only for changing his food water and give him new fruit but still every time i I’m close to him he freaks out and start growling it’s been one week but there isn’t any sign that he is getting along with me. is it ok to keep him in my room or should i put him in another room to be alone sometimes? Plz help me

Hello and welcome to the forum. He needs time to get used to you and his new home. They don't like to be on their own so it is okay to keep him in your room. Spend time just sitting near his cage and talking to him, don't make any sudden movements. Welcome to the forum.
If you leave him alone, he will never get used to you. Just go slowly and talk to him as much as you can.
