Take him to a vet as soon as possible.

Something has obviously upset him unless he is ill. Did a favourite person stop visiting him? Has someone new or a new pet come into the house?

That is too bad. It can be a downward spiral as well. Everyone is afraid of him, then he gets more withdrawn and aggressive. It is hard to tell what started it, but you can definitely take some steps to help the situation.
I've had times, not as extreme, but where my relationship with Manzi has deteriorated. It started when I was really stressed and was less patient with him. He was always on edge and would get very defensive and occasionally bite at me. I would get mad about it and yell at him. Then, were pretty bad off for a bit. I had to rethink my attitude towards him and be a lot more patient and loving with him. I made a huge effort to talk more sweetly to him, give him treats every time he came to me, etc. I'm not saying that you were losing your patience with your bird, but instead trying to emphasize that you can do things to fix this. It took several months for Manzi and me to have a problem with our relationship, but within a month or so of a big effort on my part, Manzi was back to trusting me and being very loving.
What is his diet? If you feed pellets and treats/seeds, try with holding the seeds/treats from the normal feeding and give it to him by hand later on. If he is flying at others in the household, try to keep him in his cage around others so he doesn't get the chance to act aggressive and they won't get the chance to scream or be afraid. Have others give him treats as well. Maybe make a special effort to give him more attention, talking sweetly and giving him his favorite food.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Maybe something physical is hurting him or making him feel uncomfortable. Is he eating and drinking as normal?
Jealousy of a new pet can make them aggressive - we had a member who got a puppy and their Grey started attacking and biting the children.
