Does anyone know how Jane is doing? I hope she is recovering from her loss; I think we all miss her. Thank you. Tom

She is busy getting everything in place for the service Nov 15th. I hope she does not mind me reporting this. Mitsy keeps asking where daddy is? It has been a very long road for the family and I know from experience it will take time. I felt sad with with the loss of my mom and the additional loss of caring for her. All of a sudden you sit alone not having to prepare breakfast, give meds, wash a face for you're loved one.

I'm glad she is coping. I don't know what I'd do, probably drive Shirl and Michael nutty.

I am glad to read that she is doing well. I have had a difficult year myself with losses and I know how devastating it can be for the caregiver when your loved one passes. You really lose a sense of purpose. Anyway, if anyone has contact with Jane, please let her know that we are thinking of her and saying our prayers for her and Michael. All my best, Tom

When I said "Jane is fantastic" I meant as a person... not how she is feeling at the moment... just to avoid confusion... Her loss is terrible and I don't wish anything like that upon anybody, least of all dear Jane

I think about her often. It will certainly be quite an adjustment period for her while grieving at the same time. I pray she stays as strong as she has been this entire time.

I think of Jane daily. Isn't it great to have such connections to people you have never met however know them and feel so close. This forum is a great place to meet people you would never meet or talk to in a lifetime. The wonderful people on the site is what makes it so fantastic. Hugs to all today.

Thank you everyone. I really appreciate the love and support I have had from you all. It is hard. Mitzi is constantly asking for him. The pair of them acted strange last night. Mitzi was on the cage floor chewing up some paper and Monty was on his perch but suddenly plummeted to the floor and then they were both staring in the same direction and looking startled. I don't know what it was that startled them.

I am a firm believer that our passed loved ones are always with us.
Animals see spirit while we cannot but we can sometimes feel it. I believe daddy stopped in for a visit and both Monty & Mitzi were fully aware of his presence.
Call me crazy, but I truly believe in these things. Too many weird things have happened to me that validate these feelings of mine.
