They can have passion fruit but I have read in quite a few places that Sharon fruit, also known as persimmons should be avoided. However, I have also read that they are okay so I am not certain about these.

I think they're both safe. Sharon fruits are one of Joshua's favourites, along with pomegranates. He likes passion fruit, too, and lychees - when they're available.

So how do you serve these then? Do you just wash them, then chop them in half..........then put in a bowl or something? Or do you just scoope out the inside and empty in a bowl?
thanks

Scoop out the passion fruit, leave the lychees whole (they love to peel the skin off!), slice the sharon fruit up, cut a chunk of the pomegranate for them ...
