Hi everyone, this is my first time visiting here. We just brought our new addition to the family (10 year old Grey, Stormy), home last Saturday. She is the sweetest thing. From what i have read 60% of their diet should be fruits and veggies. She eats her food just fine but I can't get her to eat any human food except junk. She will devour chips like crazy. I feel like just giving up on the fruits and veggies since she wants nothing to do with them. Should i be worried that she won't eat them? Also, do i really have to get new cookware? Everything i own is teflon.

You have to persevere with the fruit and vegetables. Provide more vegetables than fruit, and try different ways of serving them - cooked or raw, cut up small or left in bigger pieces, grated or diced etc. The chips are not a good idea because they will fill her up, they are high in fat and they provide little nutrition for their bulk.
The trouble with Teflon and all non-stick cookware is that at one time it was thought it had to reach very high temperatures before the toxic fumes were released and this is what the manufacturers always maintained. However, it is now thought the much more ordinary temperatures that would be used in everyday cooking could cause a problem, so to be absolutely safe it is best not to use non-stick.
