Are willows and evergreens poisonous to CAGs?

Generally speaking no, they are not poisonous, but some evergreens such as laurel are.

I use willow as there is a tree not far from me so its easy to get the branch,s . i bring them into the house and let them dry out for a week before using them. Ive had no problems with willow.

I scrub them with water and a scrubbing brush them leave them next to radiator to dry out just in case they have been sprayed with anything or have any insects living in them. Im always very carefull when it comes to bringing anything indoors for my birds.

Madness & Stinky/Anyone else
I found an old willow tree which died in our garden. It has small holes in it from woodworm.
Do you think that the method suggested by Madness & Stinky above will be sufficient to get rid of these 'guys' or is there something else that I should do before use?

You could bake them in the oven if you can fit them in.
