Hello All, I have another quick question (as always) LOL. Okay, here goes: I didn't have a lot of time to spend with Pearl today because I had to work really late. When I got home, she immediately started calling to me, and so I let her out like normal (always got to get her first thing, she's my baby:)). Anyway, she jumped on my hand, but then she started acting odd; or at least not like her usual self. She started biting at my fingers, not super hard, but hard enough that I didn't like it. She kept doing it, I gave her a firm "no" and handed her a toy, but she just seemed cranky. Do you think she could be mad because I got home so late? I just hope she isn't going to start biting, you know? Thanks!

Exactaly! I get the same thing when I'm late. It takes several days to get Pete back when I have to work late. They are wild animals that do not understand as well as a domesticated say "dog" does. Well I can't say a dog "understands", but will wait for you. All of my birds expect everything at the exact time every night. Pete even gets a little nippy if I don't feed all the birds at once so they can eat together, but that's the fun of having birds; they seem to be little people that ask for what they want; trained correctaly, they use the right words.

Thank you Preston, that is definitely a relief. I can live with Pearl being a little ticked sometimes, as I always do my best to have her out a lot. As long as she's not just going to start biting me frequently, I'll be perfectly happy. She is smart--too smart (LOL) but I like her that way . Thanks again!
