Jane, You and your husband are in my prayers. Hopefully, since none of us are there, Mitzi and Monty will be extra nice to you and help you recover! Lots of love from Virginia. Sincerely, Alex

I also visit a Christian music site, and they have a praise and prayer section, and I've posted a prayer request there as well. So everybody's keeping you and your husband in our prayers over there, also.
Keep strong, Many hugs for you and yours.

What a shock for you Jane. Medical science has come a long way. Try to stay positive. Look after yourself as hubby will need you more than ever now.
Know that we are thinking of you and praying for the best possible outcome.

Keep up the posts and prayers guys!! She is reading these. He may get to come home Monday, and rest up for the surgery(s). They are also looking at Chemo T to reduce the tumors first. I'll keep you posted...She has told me that the well wishes are warming a trying time.

Thanks for the update Preston. This whole situation must be so scary for her. Since they are doing surgery they think they can fix the problem which is a good sign. I hope everything goes well.
Jane stay strong and remember that everyone here is rooting for you.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone for the care and support you have given me and my husband over the last few days. We have truly appreciated it as this has been such a difficult time and we still can't get over the shock as to how sudden it all was.
My husband came home temporarily yesterday. The tumour was causing an obstruction, which led to his emergency admission to hosptital and he had a stent fitted to relieve this. (This is a tube that is guided into the area and then expands to allow the normal functioning of the system.) He is on a very restricted diet and can't eat very much.
The team are having a case conference on Friday to decide on the best sequence of treatment - it could be chemotherapy first to shrink the tumour followed by an operation. There is also a possibility that two surgical teams could work at the same time so that he has one operation rather than two. At the moment we are just thankful that the initial treatment worked as there was a possibility it wouldn't.
Thank you all once again and I will keep you updated.
Jane

Glad to hear there is a spot of good news. Sounds like a course that our team would pursue. Shrink the tumor first then go in and get it. My best to you and your family, Take care.

Good Morning Jane .. So glad your husband got to come home and the stent worked. Now let's pray they can strink it before surgery . The med world these day can do so much more then years back . We all will keep the prayers going . And please take care of your self also . You need to be strong now for him . Just a bit of info. My live in had a heart attach . They put 3 stents in . Then he had a triple aaa surgery . If I hadn't keep thinking postive he would never made it . Cause he just gave up . Then lost a kindey... again he wanted to give up . But I just wouldn't have it . So we got through that . Now he may need another stent behind the heart , which they are watcing .He would never make it off the table if they did surgery . So I know how hard this has to be on you ... Do as I do pray and keep his sprits up . I never let him see or know how scared I was or am time from time . God help me through it . We all here are for you when ever you need us . Shirl
