Adult greys should have 10 to 12 hours undisturbed sleep a night. Baby greys need more sleep and will often go to sleep during the day as well. Is she eating well and otherwise appearing healthy?

The last food yesterday was at 11 in the evening so now I understand why she is sleeping now during the day when they need as about 12 hours sleep. This morning she was not enthousiastic about eating and had about 17 mililiter. Yesterday when she was awake we had a lot of fun with her....strechtching her legs and wings....trying to climb. Today she was awake for about 20 minutes watching. cleaning, and walking around .

You can try offering some fruit and vegetables, cut up very small, Polly may be interested in starting to explore new foods.

Try not to be sad, problems can arise very quickly during the pre-weaning stage so this is a good thing. Let us know when Polly is ready to come home to you.

She is lovely! Do you have a hatching date for her? Yes put some water in but it must be kept fresh.
