HI EVERYONE,WELL I HAD MY BABY GREY ON SATURDAY AND WELL I WAS SURPRISED ALTHOUGH HE AS TAKEN TO MY PARTNER HE IS SO CLEVER FOR 12 WEEK OLD,HE ALSO LOVES TO BE CUDDLED,MY PARTNER MADE HIM A SWING SO WHEN PAULIE CLIMBES ON IT, THE DOOR OPENS AND ALREADY HE KEEPS LETTING HIMSELF OUT,HE ALSO WHEN HES IN HIS CAGE HE SCRATCHES THE PAPER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CAGE AND KEEPS LOOKING UP AT US TO SEE IF WE ARE WATCHING HIM :)SINCE WE HAD HIM HE ASNT MISSED A SINGLE MEALTIME AND AS SOON AS WE ARE EATING SOMETHING HE FLIES STRAIGHT TO US TO SHARE IT.WHEN I AM ON THE PHONE HE FLIES ON MY HEAD EVERYTIME.HE IS SO UNBELIVEABLE.ANYONE KNOW WHAT AGE DO THEY START TALKING I KNOW THAT THEY DONT ALL? THANKS.

He sounds a lovely baby grey. Scratching on the floor of the cage is quite a common thing for babies to do and of course they love to eat when you eat because this is a natural flock activity. There is quite a variation in talking, some start young at just a few months, others much later. The average is around a year, but some never talk. I have one who started at five months and one who doesn't talk at all.

I was told that Jack started around 5. We have only had him a week and haven't heard alot out of him yet. I am hoping he starts again soon.

He will. It's just that he hears new things now. If you see him mumbling, it's because he is practicing what he hears now. Patience, soon you will both enjoy his skills and wish he would shut up during your favorite tv show; by and by, that will never happen! Thats what you got one for though ;D
