Does anyone blow dry their grey after a shower/bath? I have heard of some people doing this. But I didn't know if it was safe. Thanks!

It's not really a good idea, because it can dry out the skin. Also, some blowdryers have teflon parts, so that's unhealthy as well. It's best to just let your bird air dry. If your bird is a snuggler, you can also wrap him in a towel and snuggle with him while he drys.

Yep, I blow dry him. Always on low and only until he's still slightly damp.
He doesn't like being toweled, despite my best efforts and many sittings working with a towel. So, instead of him screaming and fussing while I towel dry him, I blow dry.
If I leave him completely wet, he'll get on top of his cage and flap until he's dry winged, which means I end up with water all over the walls, the couch, and my computers.

I blow dry my TAG. He loves it!! I also put the dryer on low and on warm instead of hot. Aries will just sit still until I turn it off, even if he's already dry! I think he really enjoys the warm air.

Well, we're not sure anymore, honestly.
The breeder told us on the first visit that he was hatched between Christmas and New Years, though he couldn't put an exact date on it as he had 13 Grey babies alone pulled from the nest that week (at age 2-3 weeks). That would put him at 3 months this week, which doesn't sound right at all considering he was weaned for almost 10 days before we got him. That would put him somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 weeks old on purchase. He was both physically and psychologically weaned when he came home.
Our AVID card for his chip, however, says he was 4 months old when we got him. It doesn't give a date, just "4 mos", so we aren't entirely sure. We think what he meant was that to say was that he was hatched at the end of November and not December. His eyes are lightening rapidly and there's no way that they'd be the color that they are if he was just not turning 3 months. Sorry, but the photos just don't do them justice color-wise.
So, long story short, technically he was born in the last week of November, give or take a few days. So we can remember it easily, we're gonna say that he was born on Thanksgiving day (fell on Nov. 24 last year).
That puts him at 4 months and 4 days.
Phew!

We don't blow dry. Dusty is so cute, love the pics. Our CAG's eyes are lightening. They almost look blue depending on the light.
